The Twilight Table

The Twilight Table is a concept that combines a trading card game (TCG) space with a specialty coffee shop, inspired by a shared passion for games like Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon Trading Card Game. Drawing from personal experiences spent in community-driven game shops, this project aims to recreate that welcoming and immersive environment for others.

Given the strong visual culture surrounding trading card games, the brand embraces a highly illustrative and magical design direction. Central to the identity are two mascots—Matcha, an Eastern dragon, and Mocha, a Western dragon—who appear consistently across various brand touchpoints, including trading cards, menus, coffee cups, and packaging.

To further enhance the sense of wonder and collectibility, holographic lamination is incorporated throughout the design system. This detail adds a dynamic, tactile quality that reflects the excitement of TCG culture while reinforcing the imaginative and immersive experience that defines The Twilight Table.
