Crocs and Heelys. The two shoes that have had a profound impact on modern culture. The former was considered to be so garish to be only worn by an ignoramus (a claim made by the design department of the movie “Idiocracy”) and the latter so ubiquitous in its design that no one has even bothered to emulate it. This hybridization of these two fashion statements demonstrates a bold opportunity and experiment in combining two iconic elements of footwear. They are, in fact, fully functional.
